Fluency in English is owned by Fluency Training Ltd. Our office is located at 15 Metcalfe Way, Haddenham, CB63UP, UK. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect any personal data that we collect through our website, that you send to us, or that we collect during your course.

1. The data we collect

1.1We may collect from you certain personal data such as: your name; address; email addresses; telephone numbers; company information; previous work history; and payment information.

1.2We may collect certain data from your visits to our website. This includes, but is not limited to: the location of the computer you used; your browser type; how long you remained on each page; what pages you viewed; and how many times you have visited the website within a certain period.

1.3We may keep a record of all the emails that we both receive from you and send to you.

1.4During the classes on your course your teachers will take notes about the content of the classes. Some of these notes will contain personal information that you tell the teachers. The majority of these notes will be presented to you at the end of each class, however sometimes the teachers will also keep some notes for their own reference, and for use in future classes.

1.5During the course, the management and teachers will write notes and reports about you to inform other members of Fluency in English about your progress.

By submitting information to us, using our website, or taking a course with us, you:

3. Use of your information

3.1We may use the information that we receive from you for the following purposes: to organise an English course, accommodation, or airport transfer for you; to provide you with any information you request; to provide you with any information related to a previous enquiry from you; and to provide you with information about special offers and prices.

3.2If you no longer wish any contact with Fluency in English, please send us an email informing us of this.

4. Communicating with you

4.1We send emails to those people who have requested information from us, and to selected businesses and organisations which our previous clients have worked for.

4.2You have the right to contact us at any time and request that you no longer wish us to contact you. We will then immediately remove your contact information from our database.

4.3We provide notifications about many aspects of your course via emails, text messages, and telephone calls.

5. Cookies

5.1When you visit our website a cookie is sent to you. This cookie is a small file that is placed on your computer's hard disk, and does a number of things such as record: your movements throughout our website; how long you spent on each page; how you were referred to the website; and whether you completed and sent any forms.

5.2These cookies are anonymous. We may know that someone from a certain area visited our website at a certain time, but we never receive any personal data about this person.

5.3These cookies help us to measure the performance of our website and also our marketing campaigns. The cookies help us market to only those who have actively sought services that are, or are similar to, what we offer.

7.2In order to comply with our obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998, we use all reasonable security measures to protect your personal data from any unauthorised misuse.

7.3Any credit card payments will be encrypted using SSL technology, and processed through SagePay, one of the leading and most secure internet payment companies.

7.4Once we have processed any credit card payments we will remove and destroy these credit card details from our databases.
