Your course can include any or all of the following, depending on your level of English and your requirements for the course:
Specialised vocabulary - We will help you to extend your vocabulary for your job requirements, to use it correctly and to improve your pronunciation.
Role-play - This highly successful technique brings to life those situations in which you most want to communicate with complete confidence - interviews, presentations, business meetings, social events etc.
Grammar - We will work on the aspects of English grammar that cause you difficulty and make sure you finish your course with complete confidence in your use of them. Work on grammar can include: revision of various tenses, and prepositions, phrasal verbs, conditionals, conjunctions, etc.
Conversation - This can be structured or free; based on newspaper articles, current events, your area of interest or a visit to a museum or other sight-seeing. This gives practice in fluent speaking and understanding.
Pronunciation - We place special emphasis on the mistakes in pronunciation that prevent you being understood. Classes will focus on the sounds in English that are different from those of your own language and which cause you most difficulty.
Listening Practice - We help you to improve this skill by designing listening exercises based on your needs and job requirements, and by exposing you to different regional accents. Work can include the use of DVDs, listening to the teacher, or simulated phone conversations; at all times the teacher will check your understanding.
Advanced speech - This work will help you to speak modern colloquial English, using language such as idioms, colloquialisms, collocations, and advanced adjective enhancement.
